1207 QR. The Maroon Express stands to after undergoing a major overhaul. It will be back in service in the very near future.



LOCOMOTIVE # 4 3 7.

This freelance 2 - 6 - 2 "Prarie Class" steamer was built between 1989 & 1993. It ran extensively on our track over the first 4 years of the clubs life. After that its owner toured the country and they both appeared at many other clubs. It has recently changed hands to another member, and still runs on our rails.

The 2 - 6 - 2 "Prairie" class on a visit to the Canberra mini railway in 1996, double heading with that clubs "Mountaineer".



1210 QR. The end of the class. No more of this design were produced. the "FL, GL, & HL series followed.



Member Gilbert Simkins fires the quarter size traction engine "THOR" as it ambles along . A great crowd pleaser.
